Welcome! I'm a former software sales executive, owner of a digital media consulting agency / freshly minted entrepreneur, native Vermonter, and a newlywed living in Montreal with my French husband and our fluffy cat.

I've always loved reading a wide variety of blogs, from food to fashion to business, so much so that I decided I wanted to have one of these creative outlets too! By writing Brooke & Berri from the perspective of my business lady self, I hope to encompass the variety of my interests while also offering something fresh to any readers who happen upon it.

I'll be sharing my love of negotiating and closing a deal, how I deal with (and enjoy!) working in a male dominated field, my avoidance of the suit at all costs and where I find closet inspiration, life as a newlywed, and finally a few dabs of my favourite pastimes - baking, running, art & photography, healthy living, dress-wearing, and my awesome sister (and yes she can count as a hobby).

Oh and you may be wondering about the name - it's a street intersection near and dear to my heart in Montreal and separates the downtown area and Quartier Latin from the hip boutique quarter known as Le Plateau.
